Calling all Collectors

Bid on over 140 one-of-a-kind artworks and participate in the fundraising arm of Wilton Art®. This year, our fourth annual show merges a pop-up gallery at Pride Corner Art & Frame at 2151 Wilton Drive and an online silent auction.

The auction will be hosted by LiveAuctioneers.com. All bidding, payments, and auction management go through LiveAuctioneers, a first-class world-renowned auction house.

Showcasing over 80 artists in a fundraising exhibition for a three-week-long salute to art, artists, and art patrons.

To participate and bid you must register at LiveAuctioneers.com, and provide your shipping and credit card information. Click here to visit the site.

Wilton Art® will hang all art by established, new, and emerging artists side by side to create a wall of art. Peruse the wonderful collection of artwork, either in person at Pride Corner Art & Frame or online at the “artsquare12x12.2023” auction on LiveAuctioneers.com.

Note the lot number and/or scan the QR code located on the information card adjacent to the artwork. The QR code will take you directly to that unique artwork on the LiveAuctioneers.com bidding platform, or you can use the lot number as the reference when searching the “artsquare12x12.2023” auction.

Each artist has agreed to sell their work at a 50% commission based on the bid level received. The purchaser takes home a beautiful one-of-a-kind work of art. Wilton Art® receives a 50% donation to fund future public art projects. (Unless the artist donates their work and Wilton Art® would receive the entire bid amount.)

Auction begins Friday, February 3, 2023

The auction is in “preview” from Friday, February 3 until the final “live” auction takes place during the Closing Bids Celebration beginning at 6:00 PM on Sunday, February 26th. You can bid at any time between these dates, and we recommend that you do not wait to bid.

All artwork starts at $125 and bidding increases in $25 increments.

Once you select a piece that you would love to own, now you need to decide the way you wish to bid:

  • You can bid the minimum bid. If a work already has a bid, you will be directed to bid the next highest $25 increment for this work. For example, if there is a bid at $125, the next highest bid available is $150.

    • If at any time you have been outbid, the bidding platform will notify you and inquire if you wish to place a higher bid

  • Or, you can enter your Absentee maximum bid amount anytime. Your bid stays at the lowest minimum amount required to keep you in the lead, and increases, (up to your maximum amount) only if another bidder places a competing bid.

    • For example, you enter a bid of $350 as your maximum bid. The LiveAuctioneers system will place your bid at $125. If someone else bids the next bid of $150, the system will enter a bid for you of $175. If the auction closes and $175 is the highest bid, that is what you would pay for the artwork.

A buyer’s premium of 5% is applied to each item sold.  Sales tax is collected as per state and local requirements.

Wilton Art® artsquare12x12.2023 starts with an opening night celebration on February 3, 2023. Anyone can view the works in person or online and submit bids during the auction time.

Check back often to see if there are other works with no bids that you would like. If one of the artworks has no bids, it may give you an opportunity for new artwork at a great price!

The auction will close on Sunday, February 26th beginning at 6:00 PM. Each lot will quickly come up for final bids and moves rapidly—it is best to bid before the last minute.
